Eintracht Frankfurt has finalised a loan agreement for 26-year-old striker Sasa Kalajdzic from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Kalajdzic, an experienced Bundesliga player, will join the Hessians for the remainder of the season, donning the number nine jersey.

His journey in the Bundesliga includes a stint with VfB Stuttgart between 2019 and 2022, where he recorded 24 goals and 12 assists in 60 competitive matches.

After his successful period in Stuttgart, Kalajdzic moved to the English Premier League with Wolverhampton.

However, his debut was marred by a significant injury that sidelined him for several months.

This season, he has made 13 appearances across all competitions for Wolves, contributing three goals and an assist.

Before his Bundesliga career, Kalajdzic started at Admira Wacker in Austria, scoring 12 goals and providing 12 assists in 35 games.

On the international stage, the Vienna-born player has earned 19 caps and scored four goals for Austria, with his most recent appearance being against Germany in November.

Markus Krösche, Eintracht's board member for sport, expressed confidence in Kalajdzic's abilities.

"Sasa has already proven that he can play a big role in the Bundesliga," Krösche remarked.

"His playing style will add a new element to our game. He’s a strong finisher with good movement and heading. Because of his experience, we’re confident he’ll be able to help us right away.”
