Former Bohemians player Danny Grant is among 19 players released by Championship side Huddersfield Town, and he will be seeking a new club for the 2023/24 season.

The 23-year-old left Bohemians in December 2020 following a highly successful two-year period, during which he accumulated 60 appearances and 17 goals for the Gypsies.

Grant represented Ireland at the Under-21 level and was selected for the PFAI Team of the Year in 2020.

His impressive form for Bohemians led to interest from the Championship club, but his tenure at Kirklees Stadium was significantly impacted by injuries. As a result, he did not manage to break into the first team during his two-and-a-half years with the Terriers.

In September 2022, Grant was loaned out to Sky Bet League Two side Harrogate Town, and made over 28 league appearances with them.

Grant's departure from Huddersfield Town is likely to attract the attention of several League of Ireland clubs.

But whether he plans to stay in England or return to Ireland is yet to be determined.
