Maria’s Biography
Maria is a goalkeeper who started playing with Cork City WFC's U17 and senior squads in 2018. In 2019 she was capped by the Republic of Ireland at U19 level as well as cementing her place in Cork City's senior side.
In 2020 Maria played in 14 of Cork City's 15 matches, in a season that was shortened due to Covid-19. Maria played for City in the 2020 FAIW Cup final, losing out to Peamount.
In 2021 she played in the US with Fordham University in New York, but returned during the Summer recess to make 2 further league appearances for City. She also came home in the summer of 2022, this time appearing 6 times for Cork City before going back to study in the US.
In 2024 Maria came back to Ireland, signing for Galway United in late February.
She left the club at the end of July 2022.
