League Report: Shelbourne 1 - 0 Bray Wanderers

Shelbourne overcame Bray Wanderers as Lorcan Fitzgerald's first half penalty separated the two sides at a rain drenched Tolka Park on Friday night.
The Reds certainly dominated the first half and took the lead through Fitzgerald’s spot kick in the 33rd minute.
The first quarter of the game saw the ball being played from end to end but Shels turned the screw and upped the anti against Bray with James English and ex-Bray player Ryan Brennan both having chances before the break.
Shelbourne went into half time on a positive note but both sides experienced a purple patch at the start of the second half with the visitors definitely growing into the game in contrast to their poor first half performance.
Dylan McGlade got Bray’s best chance in the game after Dean O’Halloran was fouled on the edge of the box. McGlade stepped up and drilled his shot on target only for it to come off the crossbar.
Apart from that, the Seagulls struggled to overcome a strong Shelbourne side for who Daniel McKenna and Ryan Brennan proved their strength in midfield.
Shelbourne have lost leads in the past but they held on this time, impressing their fans and securing all three points.
