Leaders Raheny United host Shamrock Rovers looking to commence 2014 on a winning note as they bid to retain their title under pressure from rivals Peamount.
Raheny have not played a competitive game since December 8 so will be eager to get back in action.
United have Kerrie Ryan (cruciate) out long-term while Shauna Newman has a knock. Louise Kearney has joined from DLR Waves and is set to make her debut.
Shamrock Rovers boss Stephen Craig has added Joan Daly and Kate McKeever (ex-Raheny) to his squad and has no injury concerns.
"Games don't come much harder in this league than Raheny. It's a tough start for the first game back after the break but we'll give it a lash," said Craig.
"We're looking forward to progressing this year. We've shown already that we've improved and we want to double what we did points wise last year. We have done similar to what others did in terms of taking a break but the numbers at training have been fantastic. They seem to be really enjoying it which isn't bad for a side that isn't in contention."
