DLR Waves will look to get back to winning ways after their disappointment of their loss to Raheny United last week.
“We were disappointed with how we did last week. I’ve been told that Galway will be well-organised and they did well against Wexford Youths last week,” said DLR Waves coach Larry Mahoney.
Goalkeeper Avril Kilkelly was out with illness last week but is available.
Galway WFC held Wexford to a draw in their first game at this level so will be looking forward to their first away date as a National League side. Laura Carroll is out with a knee injury while Emma Treanor is doubtful. Ruth Fahy’s transfer from South Melbourne WFC has come through.
Galway WFC manager Nigel Keady said: “After the excitement of our first game in the league we are now need to back that up and ensure that we can bring our match day performance on the road. This will be another new experience but I believe that Sunday’s game will give us the confidence to know that we should fear no opposition.”
