Exeter City have announced the acquisition of midfielder Luke Harris on loan from Premier League club Fulham until the season's end.

The 18-year-old Harris, a target for several Championship teams, marks Gary Caldwell's first signing in this transfer window.

He will join the team immediately, preparing for the upcoming match against Carlisle United on Saturday.

Harris, who earned his first senior Wales squad call-up in Novembe, made one Premier League appearance against Manchester City, participated in an EFL Cup match versus Tottenham Hotspur, and played eight times for Fulham's Under-21 team in the EFL Trophy and Premier League.

In these appearances, Harris contributed two goals and two assists. His international experience includes scoring for the Welsh Under-21 team against Lithuania in the Euro Qualifiers.

Originally from the Channel Islands, Harris advanced through Fulham's academy, joining their first team in the summer of 2022 for training and friendly matches.

His professional debut occurred in an EFL Cup game at Crawley Town, followed by a Premier League debut against Aston Villa in October 2022.

Fulham recognized his potential by offering him a professional contract through 2025. Harris also boasts a history of playing for Wales at every level from Under-17, which he captained.

At just 15, Harris contributed eight goals and three assists for Fulham's Under-18s in the 2019/20 season and scored 13 goals in 17 matches for the Under-23s during the 2021/22 season.

As part of Exeter City, Harris will wear the no.20 shirt.
