Treaty United bolster ranks with signing of trio

First Division play-off chasers Treaty United have unveiled the signing of three new recruits ahead of the business end of the season.

Adam Lennon has joined the club from Athlone Town, while Dean O’Shea and Corey Chambers have also made the switch to the Market’s Field.

Tommy Barrett’s side have been hit with a number of departures in recent weeks – Alec Byrne, Shane Hallahan and Anto O’Donnell have all left.

But the introduction of their new trio will give them a welcome boost.

Lennon – previously of UCD – left Athlone earlier this week and is likely to be a valuable addition to their squad.

O’Shea however links up with the club off the back of prior stints with Bray Wanderers and Galway United.

A full-back by trade, the player has been without a League of Ireland club since leaving Galway United in 2022.

He was most recently with Maynooth University Town.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Corey Chambers has joined after a brief stint away from the League of Ireland,

Chambers was most recently on the books of Cork City and has also played for Wexford and Cabinteely.
