League of Ireland Attendances - Gameweek 1

The first Gameweek of the new League of Ireland season has come and gone. Ten games played across two divisions yielded 17 goals, one less than the opening weekend of 2014. The attendance figure for Gameweek 1 across the ten games totalled 18,113 – this includes all ten official figures.

Shamrock Rovers televised clash with St. Pats drew the largest crowd (4,483) with current champions Dundalk registering 3,336 people for their opener against newly promoted Longford Town.

The Premier Division average attendance for Gameweek 1 was 2,508. The First Division average was 766.
