Stephen Walsh’s Biography

Stephen Walsh is an extratime.ie reporter since August 2014 as one can see by looking at his LinkedIn page in the bottom right hand corner. Stephen mainly covers games for Cork City and Cobh Ramblers but rarely provides any live updates owing to him working in a statistics capacity at the majority of these games.

The highlight of Stephen’s time writing with extratime.ie has been covering the Republic of Ireland vs Bosnia Herzegovina match in the Aviva Stadium back in November 2015. The lowlight though would have to be missing a penalty against sportsjoe.ie in a Media 6 a side tournament in May 2016.

Stephen is currently studying to be a primary school teacher in Marino Institute of Education.
