Jeff’s Biography
Jeff is a former Irish international full back who was capped 27 times for the Republic of Ireland. He started his career at Southampton in 1988 and went on to play for Blackburn Rovers, Tranmere Rovers (loan), Wigan Athletic (loan), Birmingham City, Derby County and Kidderminster Harriers.
Jeff was appointed manager of Galway United on 21 April 2008 following the departure of Tony Cousins. He managed Galway until the end of the 2008 season, also appearing 6 times in the league, making his playing debut in a 1-0 win over Bray Wanderers on 18 July.
The following season Jeff took up the manager's job at St Patrick's Athletic but he came under pressure during a season of mixed results and left the club on 18 September '09.
