Enda’s Biography
Enda Curran is a striker who scored three league goals for a struggling Mervue United in 2010. In January of 2011 he moved across the city to sign for Sean Connor at Galway United. However, amid financial chaos at the club Enda was released in August having made 14 league appearances for the Tribesmen.
In January 2012 Enda signed a deal with Salthill Devon until the end of the season. He scored and was sent off on his debut against Athlone Town at Lissywoolen on 2 March and went on to score nine times in 25 league, appearances. He re-signed for the club for the 2013 season which started well for Enda, with him scoring eight goals, including a hat-trick against Athlone in a 3-3 draw, in 15 league games. He then signed for Roddy Collins at Athlone Town at the start of August 2013.
Enda scored four goals for Athlone, including game winning goals against Mervue and Finn Harps, in 8 league games, as Athlone Town went on to win the First Division title. Enda then followed manager Roddy Collins, and signed for Derry City in November 2013.
Enda made his debut for Derry City against Shamrock Rovers at Tallaght Stadium on 9 March 2014 and he bagged his first goal in a 1-0 win over Sligo Rovers at the Brandywell on 4 April. Enda made 12 league appearances for the Candystripes and scored twice before quitting the club at the end of May, following the departure of manager Roddy Collins.
Enda joined Galway FC in July 2014 and scored one goal, which came in a 5-0 win over Shamrock Rovers B team, in 5 league appearances as the Tribesmen earned promotion to the Premier Division for 2015. Enda hit twelve goals in 25 league appearances as Galway finished tenth in the 2015 Premier Division. He also played in the EA Sports Cup Final, which Galway lost on penalties to St Pats. In 2016, his third season at Eamonn Deacy Park, Enda added three more goals to his career tally while making another 24 league appearances for Galway.
In January 2017 Enda left Galway to sign for Alan Mathews at newly relegated Longford Town. Enda then left Longford Town to sign with Athlone in July after scoring six goals.
In 2018/19 Enda played with Mervue United and was selected for the FAI Amateur side that represented Ireland at the Jersey FA tournament in May 2019.
In February 2020, Enda signed with Galway United once again. Enda left Galway after the 2020 season citing that he couldn't go full time with the club in 2021.
