Packie’s Biography
Packie is a goalkeeper who played with Kilkenny sides Evergreen United and East End United before joining Waterford United in 2003. He has won 4 schools international caps as well as 15 Junior International caps.
Packie's first spell at Waterford ended at the end of 2005 and in 2006 he joined Cobh Ramblers. He spent just one season at St Coleman's Park before returning to Waterford at the start of 2007. He second stint at the RSC lasted for two years but in 2009 he joined near neighbours Wexford Youths.
He made 76 league appearances during his three seasons with Wexford but at the start of 2012 he was back at the RSC for a third time, lining out for once again for Waterford United. Packie made 26 league appearances as the Blues made the promotion play-offs, but they were beaten in the decider by Dundalk and at the end of the season he hung up his gloves.
