Brian’s Biography

Brian is a defender who started his football career in Limerick where he played for Granville Rangers and Pike Rovers before moving to England where he played for Barnsley, Worksop Town, Keflavik in Iceland and Notts County. He was released by Notts County on May 11th, 2006 and signed for Damien Richardson at Cork City on June 30th.

Brian spent the guts of two and a half seasons at Cork City but on January 14, 2008, he joined Conference National side Halifax Town on loan. In 2009 he joined Limerick City but his time at Jackman Park was hampered by injuries and by the time the club had lifted the First Division title in 2012 he had made just 19 league appearances.

In January 2013, with the club poised to return to Premier Division action, Brian signed a new contract with new Limerick manager Stuart Taylor and went on to make 13 league appearances for Limerick as the club finished 7th in the Premier Division. He left the club at the end of 2013 and returned to junior side Regional United. He spent over three years at Regional as both player and player/manager but left in March 2017 after which he signed for Pike Rovers.
