Anthony’s Biography
Anthony first graced the League as a defender at Kilkenny City. He joined Cobh Ramblers at the start of the short 2003 season, just as the League of Ireland switched to a summer season and moved on to sign for Limerick City at the start of the 2005 season.
At the start of 2006 Anthony was on the move again, leaving Limerick to sign for Cork side Mayfield United where he was part of the side that lost 8-1 to Bohemians in the third round of the 2009 FAI Cup.
At the start of the 2010 season Anthony returned to league football with Wexford Youths. At the start of the following season he spent a brief period on trial at Cork City in pre-season, but returned to Wexford for the 2011 season.
He re-joined Mayfield United in the Autumn of 2011 and was again part of Mayfield's 2012 FAI Cup campaign, playing in the first round defeat of Ballymun United and their second round defeat to Drogheda United.
