Mark’s Biography
Derry born Mark was signed for Derry City from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2003 and made an instant impression at the Brandywell. But manager Dermot Keely soon sent him out on loan to Institute.
He returned to Derry and played under Gavin Dykes and Peter Hutton, fighting his way back into the team. But new manager Pat Fenlon released Mark from the Brandywell club in December 2006 and Mark joined Partick Thistle in January 2007.
Released by Partick in the summer of 2007, Mark rejoined Derry City in August and spent a further two years at the Brandywell picking up a League Cup winners medal in 2008. He moved on again in August 2009, signing for Lisburn Distillery before returning for a third spell at Derry City in January 2010.
At the end of the 2010 season Mark signed for English club Tranmere Rovers. He made 41 league appearances for Tranmere, and had a short loan spell at Scunthorpe United in 2012, but left the club on 3 January 2013 to join Bristol Rovers.
