In 2005 he returned to Derry City on a permanent deal and made 63 league appearances for the Candystripes over the following two seasons. In December 2006 he signed for Cardiff City where he again went out on loan, this time to Luton Town and Bournemouth, before joining Millwall in June 2008. He has been at the London club ever since.
