Chris’s Biography
Christopher made his debut for Finn Harps against Dundalk on July 1st 2003 but he broke into the Finn Harps first team squad after Felix Healy's appointment in 2004. He scored nine goals in the '04 season as Harps went on to win that years First Division title.
Due to financial difficulties at Finn Harps, Chris moved on in 2006, spending the second half of the season on loan with Shamrock Rovers where he picked up his second First Division Championship medal in three years. In 2007 Chris left the League to go to Australia where a broken ankle just eight minutes into his first game with the local side in Adelaide, ended any hopes of forging a career down under.
Chris was back at Finn Harps in 2008, making 30 league appearances and scoring twice but he left the club at the end of the season to return to Australia.
He was back at Harps, briefly, in 2010, making just three substitute appearances but scoring twice and at the beginning of 2011, Chris re-united with his former boss, Pat Scully, when he signed for Limerick FC.
He made his Limerick debut as a substitute against his former side Finn Harps in the curtain opener of the 2011 season and the Donegal native made 10 league appearances, scoring once, in a 2-1 away win over Longford Town.
In January 2012 Chris returned for another spell at Finn Harps but he failed to make an appearance for the club and was not included in Peter Hutton's squad for 2013.
