Paul 'Spot'’s Biography

Paul spent time at Ipswich Town but struggled with homesickness and returned to Wexford when he was released by the club, signing for local side Wexford Bohemians. He played a key role in Wexford's Oscar Traynor side in 2010 and subsequently signed for Waterford United in June 2010.

Paul marked his Blues debut with a goal in the 8-0 hammering of Salthill Devon but he parted company with Waterford by mutual consent on October 21st 2011 having made 37 league appearances in his two years at the club, scoring 14 league goals.

In February 2012 Paul was in talks with Bohemians but did not subsequently sign for the club. He later played for North End United for the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons before signing for Wexford Youths in December 2015. He made his league debut for the Youths against Longford Town at Ferrycarrig Park on 4 March 2016 and scored his first league goal against Bray Wanderers one month later. He ended the season with four goals from 28 league appearances as Wexford went down to the First Division after play-off defeat to Drogheda United.

In December 2016 Paul was the first player to be signed by the rebranded Waterford FC ahead of their 2017 First Division campaign.
