Dean’s Biography
Dean was a member of Wexford Youths First Division squad in 2010 and played in 30 of the clubs thirty-three league games that year. He also scored his first league goal in 2010, netting in the 5-3 win over Limerick FC on 16 July. The following season he scored three times in the league and recorded another 21 league appearances. Dean made another 23 league appearances in 2012 under new manager Shane Keegan, scoring twice and he hit the net three times during 16 league appearances in 2013. Dean remained a regular in 2014, managing his best goals tally to date with four league goals and one more in the FAI Cup when he scored against Finn Harps in the third round.
At the end of the 2014 season Dean briefly returned to Junior football, signing with Kilkenny side Thomastown United, but he returned to Shane Keegan's Wexford side in January 2015. However, injuries limited Dean's season so much that he only made one substitute appearance all season, which came against Cabinteely in April, although he did score one of his sides seven goals that day.
In January 2016, Dean left Wexford to join local rivals Waterford United. He went on to make five league appearances for the club before leaving the First Division side in June 2016.
