Ciaran’s Biography
Ciaran made his debut for Harps when he came on as a second-half substitute for the injured Gavin Cullen in the 1-0 defeat against Sporting Fingal at the Morton Stadium in April 2009, just two days after his seventeenth birthday, and at the end of that season he signed a two year contract extension. He made just 5 league appearances in 2010 but over the following two years he made 52 more league appearances, establishing himself firmly as the club's number one keeper.
Ciaran signed for Roddy Collins at Derry City in the pre-season of 2014 but made only 3 league appearances during the season, as he was kept out of the starting eleven by Ger Doherty. In November 2014, he re-joined Finn Harps and went on to appear in all of Harps' 28 league games in the First Division, as well as their play-off matches. He kept seventeen clean sheets as Finn Harps were promoted to the Premier Division after overcoming UCD and Limerick. Ciaran then re-signed with Harps at the end of the 2016 season.
In January 2018, Ciaran signed back with Harps for another season. In December 2018, Ciaran once again committed to Finn Harps for 2019.
Ciaran has played for the Republic of Ireland at U17, U18 and U19 level.
