Eric’s Biography

Eric is a product of the Home Farm youth system and signed as a youth player with Celtic in 2006. He spent four years in Glasgow before being brought home by Liam Buckley who signed him for Sporting Fingal in the summer transfer window of 2009.

In January of 2010 he moved to Shelbourne where he became a key member of the Shels midfield. He made 18 league appearances for the Reds that year and scored six league goals.

At he start of the 2011 season Eric was signed by Mick Cooke at Monaghan United. He made his Monaghan debut in familiar territory at Tolka Park on the opening day of the 2011 season, scoring in a 1-1 draw against his former club Shelbourne. 2011 proved to be a successful year for Eric as he made 33 league appearances, scoring three times, in a season that ended with Monaghan winning promotion to the Premier Division.

Having taken part in Monaghan's pre-season programme, Eric left the club to sign for Mick Cooke at Drogheda United on 20 February 2012. In made 21 league appearances that year as the Drogs finished second in the Premier Division but he was hampered by injury in 2013 and made just eight league starts. He also played in Drogheda's EA Cup final defeat to Shamrock Rovers and was an unused sub when they lost out to Sligo in the FAI Cup final.

Eric made 13 more league appearances in 2014, scoring once in a 4-1 win over Dundalk on the opening night of the season. He left the club by mutual consent on 8 June 2014 and on 25 July he signed for Athlone Town. He went on to play in twelve of the thirteen league games remaining as Athlone were relegated on the last day of the season.

Eric stayed with Athlone Town for the 2015 season in the First Division and made six appearances, scoring once in a 3-1 win over Shelbourne, before leaving the club in May 2015. He returned to League of Ireland in February 2016, when he signed for Tommy Dunne's Galway United. Eric went on to score two goals in six league appearances for Galway before he left the club in June 2016.

In June 2016 Eric went on trial with Bray Wanderers.
