Enda’s Biography

Dublin born Enda began his playing days at Cherry Orchard before going on to have trials for Nottingham Forest, Hull City, Stockport County and Yeovil Town. He finally signed for UCD in 2008 and made his debut in a 2-0 defeat to Bohemians on 25 July 2008. But he made just 2 league appearances at the club before moving on at the end of the 2008 season.

In 2009 he was one of new manager Jeff Kenna's first signings for St Patrick's Athletic and he made his Pat's debut in a 1-0 win over Cork City at Turners Cross. Enda soon established himself in the first team where he made himself the club's first choice left back, playing a vital part in the Saints 2009 european campaign, playing in all six of St Pat's Europa league fixtures.

At the start of 2010 Enda signed for Shamrock Rovers, winning his first league title with the Hoops in that year, also appearing in the 2010 FAI Cup final defeat to Sligo Rovers. Another league title followed in 2011 and further European adventures as the Hoops became the first Irish side to qualify for the group stages of the Europa League.

In January 2012 Enda signed for English Premier League side, Aston Villa.
