Alan’s Biography
Alan began his career at Ayr United in 1980 and he played at Sommerville Park for four seasons until he signed for Celtic in 1984.
He played at Parkhead for three seasons before a move south to join Aston Villa in 1987. Two years later he was off to Germany where he joined Bayern Munich in 1989. He played with Bayern for four years, returning to Scotland in 1993 when he signed for Kilmarnock.
