Jim’s Biography
Jim came through the youth ranks at Celtic Boys Club before moving south to sign for Brian Clough at Nottingham Forest in 1981. He was with Forest for three years but failed to settle south of the border and returned to Celtic in 1984.
He made his senior debut for Celtic against Hibernians on 11 August '84 and played mostly with their reserves for two years before being released by the club in the Summer of 1986.
Having been let go by Celtic, Jim signed for Derry City ahead of their 1986/87 First Division campaign.
