John’s Biography
John played for Waterford United reserves in 1983/84 and made two League appearances for the Blues the following season. He left the club in December of 1985 to sign for Alfie Hale at EMFA, playing in their first season of League of Ireland football.
John continued to play with EMFA for the remainder of the 1985/86 season and returned to Waterford United that summer where he played for the Blues until December of 1987.
In January 1988 John signed for Kilkenny Junior side, Ferrybank.
