Ellen’s Biography
Ellen played with Kilkenny side Thomastown United before joining Wexford Youths Women in 2019. In the Covid ravaged season of 2020 she scored 8 times as the Youths finished 3rd in the WNL.
In 2021 Ellen scored 14 goals in 27 league and Cup appearances and won an FAIW Cup winners medal when the Youths beat Shelbourne in the final. The following year she hit the net 17 times in 24 appearances before her season was ended prematurely by a serious leg injury.
Ellen didn't recover until September of 2023 when she returned to action against Sligo Rovers at The Showgrounds. A month later she scored in a 2-2 draw against Bohemians, her only goal in 4 league appearances.
The following year, Ellen in Wexford's first 20 league and cup matches, scoring six times, but left the club in early September to join English side, Sheffield United.
She has also represented Ireland at U17, U19 and senior levels.
