John’s Biography
John was already a youth international when he made his debut for Bohemians on 22 April 1982. He came on as s substitute in extra-time of an FAI Cup replay against Cup holders Dundalk and scored the winning goal.
He went on to spend seven seasons at Dalymount Park but struggled for game time in 1988/89 and was released at the end of the season, joining Dublin side Inchicore Athletic.
