David’s Biography
David 'Rocky' O'Brien started his league career at Bohemians in September 1981 and he played with the Phibsborough side for nine seasons until the summer of 1990. That July he left Dalymount Park to sign for Dermot Keely at Sligo Rovers, against who he had made his league debut almost a decade earlier.
David spent one and a half seasons at The Showgrounds but injury shortly before Christmas of 1991 put paid to his time at Sligo.
