Tim’s Biography

Tim moved to Millwall in the summer of 2003 where he spent one season before being released. He then spent three seasons in English non-league football, playing for Walton & Hersham, Weymouth and Fisher Athletic. He got his break in 2007, signing for Kilmarnock in the SPL on amateur forms. He later went on to turn out for Motherwell, Hibernian and St Johnstone.

Tim signed for Shamrock Rovers in February 2015, after playing for the club during their pre-season. He was included on the bench at the start of the season but came in to make three league appearances in June. In July 2015, Tim moved on loan to Sligo Rovers until the end of the season. He made eight league appearances for the Bit O'Red, scoring once, in a 1-0 win over Derry City, as Sligo finished ninth in the Premier Division.

In January 2016, Tim made his move to the Showgrounds permanent and he went on to make seven league appearances for Dave Robertson's side before leaving Sligo Rovers in June 2016. Shortly after, Tim appeared on trial with Bray Wanderers, playing in their friendly against Falkirk, before signing for the Seagulls on the last day of June. Tim made 13 league appearances in the second half of the season for Wanderers before re-signing for the 2017 campaign. Tim made 23 league appearances in the 2017 season for Bray.

Tim was made the manager of Drogheda United at the start of December 2017 with Dave Robertson offering support in a Director of Football role. He was in charge at United Park for four seasons, leaving in December 2021 to take over the manager's job at St Patrick's Athletic.

He spent one and a half seasons in the hot seat at Richmond Park, leaving St Pats by mutual consent in May 2023. He was without a club for the rest of the season but in November 2024, Tim took the manager's job at newly relegated Cork City.
