Adam’s Biography

Adam joined Burnley's youth squad in 2010 on a two-year scholarship after playing with Belvedere. He was part of a youth team that reached the semi-finals of the 2012 FA Youth Cup. In May 2012, he signed a one-year professional contract with Burnley. He immediately went out on loan to Droylsden, where he made six appearances, scoring once. He was released when his contract expired in June 2013.

A week later, Adam signed for Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a one-year deal. He made his debut in January 2014, in a 1-0 win away to Aberdeen. He made one further appearance before he was released in May 2014.

Adam signed for Bohemians in July 2014. He went on to play seven times for the club, scoring once in a 3-2 defeat to Sligo Rovers, as Bohs finished seventh in the table. He re-signed for the club for the 2015 season and went to make twenty-six league appearances for Bohs, scoring five goals in the process, as the club finished fifth in the Premier Division.

Adam stayed with Bohs for the 2016 season and went on to make two Premier Division appearances for the club before leaving in June 2016. He went on trial with Shelbourne soon after, scoring in their friendly with Leeds United, before signing for the club in July 2016.

Adam played for Shelbourne from July of 2016 until the end of 2018. He scored twice for the Reds in his first half-season at the club and added 11 league and cup goals in 2017. He scored five league goals in 2018 and left the club at the end of that season to join Neal Fenn at Longford Town in 2019. Adam departed Longford in December 2020 having helped the club to promotion to the Premier Division.

In December 2020, Adam signed for Warrenpoint Town.
