Jaanai’s Biography
Jaanai was a part of the Peterborough Youth academy and made his first appearance for the club in in a Championship against Wolves in September 2012 before he signed his first professional deal in December. He went on to make two more Championship appearances and played in the FA Cup match against Norwich City before the season's end. In the summer of 2013, Jaanai was part of the Peterborough United team that toured Ireland and played against UCD and Shelbourne.
Jaanai was still with Peterborough for the start of the 2013/14 season and made three more appearances in all competitions before signing a four-and-a-half year deal with West Ham United in December 2013. The following year, the forward signed for Chelmsford City in the National League South on a month's loan in December. He went on to score four goals and assisted twice in ten appearances as the loan was extended until the end of February 2015.
Once Jaanai returned from Chelmsford City, he was sent out on loan to Nuneaton Town in the National League in March. He went on to score and assist once in five games before his loan finished up in May 2015. Jaanai returned to the West Ham u21 squad for the 2015/16 season before joining Sligo Rovers on loan until July 1st in January 2016.
Jaanai went on to make ten league appearances for the Bit O'Red, scoring once in a 4-1 win over Wexford Youths, before returning to West Ham United at the end of his loan spell.
