Ryan’s Biography
Ryan played with Tolka Rovers in their 2013 Leinster Senior Cup and FAI Cup campaigns. He moved to Bray Wanderers in July 2013 and played for the u19 side. He played with the first team during the 2014 Premier Division campaign, making his debut as a substitute against Bohemians on 5 September 2014. He made a total of two league appearances in his debut season, both as substitute.
In February 2015 Ryan signed for UCD who had just been relegated to the First Division. He made his senior debut for the Students in a Leinster Senior Cup tie against Dundalk on 10 February 2015 and scored on his league debut one month later, in a 3-0 win away at Cobh Ramblers on 7 March. He went on to finish the regular season with tweleve goals in 26 league games as UCD secured a promotion play-off spot. However, the club lost out to eventual promotees Finn Harps. Ryan also scored all three of UCD's goals in their four Europa League games.
In 2016 Ryan scored six times in 28 league appearances as UCD finished fourth in the First Division but he left the club at the end of that season and in February 2017 he signed for English League Two side, Exeter City. Ryan then returned to the LOI in July 2017 when he signed back for Pat Devlin with Cabinteely.
In December 2017, Ryan signed for Premier Division club, Bohemians. In December 2018, Ryan re-signed with Bohs for the 2019 season.
