Gary’s Biography

Gary played with Wexford Youths in 2012 and was first involved with the senior squad as an unused substitute in the 1-1 draw away to Douglas Hall in the third round of the FAI Cup on 27 May. He made his league debut at home to Mervue United on 27 July 2012 and he made 4 league appearances that season. In 2013 Gary became a regular in the Wexford back four and he played in 21 of the club's 28 league games.

With one and a half years of league experience behind him Gary signed for Waterford United at the start of 2014 and he scored his first league goal against his former teammates on 16 May 2014. He bagged two goals in 16 league appearances for the Blues before quitting the club at the end of July 2014 to re-sign for Wexford. In his first game back in Wexford colours Gary provided an assist for Ben Ryan in the Youth's 2-2 draw with Finn Harps on 1 August 2014. He went on to make 9 league appearances for Wexford over the latter half of 2014, scoring once.

In 2015 season Gary made 25 league appearances and scored four times as the Youths claimed the First Division title and promotion to the top tier. The following season, however, brought an immediate return to the First Division with Gary scoring three times in 25 league appearances. In January 2017 Gary left once again for a second spell at the RSC, this time under Pat Fenlon at the rebranded Waterford FC.

Gary spent just seven months at Waterford before leaving at the end of July 2017.
