Zlatan’s Biography

The undisputed star of the Swedish side, Zlatan started his career at Malmo FF in 1999 where he scored 16 goals in 40 league appearances during his two and a half seasons at the club. In July 2001 he joined Dutch side Ajax where he played for three seasons, winning the league title in 2002 and scoring 35 goals in 74 league appearances.

In August 2004 he signed for Italian giants Juventus and scored 23 league goals over two seasons before joining Inter Milan in August 2006. In the following three seasons Zlatan scored 57 league goals, winning three Serie A titles. He left the club at the end of 2008/09 to join Spanish side Barcelona.

He played for just one season at Barcelona, scoring 16 league goals as the club won the La Liga title, before returning to Italy on a season long loan to AC Milan in 2010/11. Another league title followed that season and Zlatan signed a permanent deal at the club in the summer of 2011.

Remarkably, Zlatan was part of League winning sides side for eight consecutive seasons from 2004 to 2011, including title wins at Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan. He rocked up to Ligue 1's PSG in July 2012. He has since won four consecutive championships in France and was playing with them when he was included in the Sweden squad for the 2016 European Championship.

Zlatan made his international debut against the Faroe Islands in January 2001.
