Robert’s Biography
Robert played for Douglas Hall in 2010/11 and took part in the club's run to the third round of the 2011 FAI Cup. In the summer of 2011 he signed for Cork City's U19 squad and played in their double winning sides of 2011/2012 and 2012/13. Rob appeared in the club's 2012 Munster Senior Cup campaign and made his league debut for the Rebels against UCD on 27 September 2013, going on to make 2 league appearances that season.
In 2014, under new manager John Caulfield, Rob became more involved with the first team. He made 15 league appearances (all as a substitute) in a season that saw City finish runners up to Dundalk in the league and he scored his first league goal for the club, in a 3-2 defeat to St Patrick's Athletic at Richmond Park. In the 2015 season, Rob made six substitute appearances for Cork before moving on loan to Sligo Rovers until the end of the season in July 2015.
Rob went on to make 2 league appearances for Sligo, scoring on his debut against Limerick in a 3-2 defeat, as Sligo finished ninth in the Premier Division. Rob returned to Cork after his loan spell but left the club in December 2015. In January 2016, Rob signed for Stephen Henderson at First Division side Cobh Ramblers and scored five times in 23 league appearances as Cobh made the promotion play-offs before losing out to Drogheda United in the semi-finals. In December of that year Rob returned to the Munster Senior League when he rejoined his former club Douglas Hall.
