Aine’s Biography
Aine O'Gorman was part of the Peamount United squad for the inaugural Women's National League in 2011, having made her debut with the Peas in May 2010. She previously played for Doncaster Rovers Belles in the FAWSL. In August 2014, Aine moved to UCD Waves and won Player of the Year for the 2014/15 season.
She soent four seasons at Belfield before returning to Peamount for the 2018 season when she topped their scoring charts with 23 league and cup goals. The repeated that feat in 2019, scoring 22 times as Peamount won the League title. Peamount retained their title in a shortened 2020 season with Aine finishing as the WNL's top-scorer.
In 2021 Aine netted 17 times and in 2022 she again topped the WNL charts, this time scoring 25 times in all competitions. At the end of the 2022 season she left Peamount to become the first signing for Shamrock Rovers' new women's team.
Aine has been capped by the Republic of Ireland and ahead of the matches against Montenegro and Spain in April 2016, she has 87 caps to her name. In September 2018, Aine announced her retirement from international football after amassing 100 caps and 13 goals for her country.
