Ryan ’s Biography
Ryan is a midfielder who played for Bray Wanderers U19 team during the 2011 season. In 2012 Ryan joined the St Patrick's Athletic U19 squad, appearing for the first team in the Leinster Senior Cup game against Shamrock Rovers on 7 May 2012. Ryan made his league debut for Pats in a 1-0 win away to Cork City on 13 August 2012 and he made 8 league appearances that season.
In January 2013 Ryan went on loan to Roddy Collins' Athlone Town side as they prepared for their First Division campaign. He made his Athlone debut on 9 March in a 0-0 draw with Mervue United at Lisseywoolen, and went on to make 11 league appearances, scoring three times, over the first half of a season that would see Athlone win the First Division title. But his loan spell ended at the end of June at which point Ryan was also released from St Pats by mutual consent. When the July transfer window opened he signed for Pat Devlin at Bray Wanderers.
Ryan made his debut for the Seagulls in a remarkable 4-4 draw with Limerick FC on 9 July 2013 and he made 3 league appearances over the latter half of the 2013 season. In January 2014, Ryan signed for the Shamrock Rovers B team which had been newly entered for the upcoming First Division season. He made 7 league appearances for the Hoop's reserve side before returning to Bray Wanderers in July 2014. He made his first reappearance in a Bray shirt when he came on as a sub in the 5-0 defeat to Derry at the Brandywell and made just 3 league appearances that year, all as a sub, before leaving the club again in September of that year.
Having left the LOI Ryan played with a number of Leinster Senior League sides including Cherry Orchard and Bluebell United.
