Stephen ’s Biography
Stephen began his League of Ireland career with Finn Harps' Ulster Senior League side before moving on to Sligo Rovers in 2004. He scored nine goals in 22 appearances for the Bit O' Red that year. In 2005 his Army tour to Bosnia contributed to a less consistent season in which he made 11 appearances as Sligo won the First Division title.
In January 2006 Stephen signed for Finn Harps and scored on his debut against Kildare County. He scored seven goals in 26 appearances that year. He left Harps at the end of 2006 and spent the next five seasons alternating between Kildrum Tigers and Lagan Harps as army life dictated.
In May 2011 Felix Healy watched Stephen play for Kildrum Tigers and he was brought in to the Harps team in the July transfer window. He made his first appearance on July 9th in a 3-2 away defeat to Longford Town. He made 11 league appearances that year and scored twice, both goals coming in a 2-0 win over Salthill Devon on 24 September. Stephen left Harps at the end of July 2013.
