James’s Biography
James is a midfielder who played for Tipperary side Nenagh FC before signing for Limerick FC on 6 June 2011. He played for the club's A Championship side that year and also played for the U19 side in their 2011/12 season.
James made his senior debut for Limerick in their Munster Senior Cup semi-final win over Fermoy on 18 March 2012 and his league bow came on 4 May as a late substitute in a 2-0 win over Mervue United. He scored his first goal for the club a week later against SD Galway and he finished the game with a brace as Limerick won 5-2. James made 10 league appearances that year.
In 2013, under new boss Stuart Taylor, James made just 3 Premier Division appearances, all from the bench, but he re-signed for 2014 and went on to make 11 league appearances that year, scoring one goal in a 1-1 draw with St Pats. James left the club for Pike Rovers in September 2014.
