Sean’s Biography
Sean played underage football at Home Farm and Belvedere before signing for Bohemians at the start of the 2008 season. His first team debut came on 7th April 2009 when he came on as a substitute against Galway United at Terryland Park.
At the start of the 2010 season Sean signed for Dermot Keely at Shelbourne and made 29 appearances, scoring twice in his debut season at Tolka Park. Sean found playing time harder to come by in Shels promotion winning season of 2011. He made just 6 league starts, adding 6 more appearances from the bench. However, he did start in the FAI Cup final when the Reds went down to Sligo Rovers after a penalty shootout. The following year Sean made 13 more league appearances but he was an unused sub on 15 occasions and he left Tolka Park at the end of 2012.
In February 2013 Sean went on trial with Roddy Collins at Athlone Town but he did not sign a contract until the summer transfer window, officially signing on 3 July 2013. He helped the club win the First Division title and re-signed for the 2014 season. He went on to make 17 appearances for Athlone in the Premier Division before leaving the club in August 2014 due to work commitments.
Sean signed for Tolka Rovers in January 2015 but soon returned to League of Ireland football one year later in January 2016, when he signed for Waterford United. His first league outing for the Blues came on the opening night of 2016 and he made 15 league appearances that year.
In July 2017 Sean returned to Shels after a period with St Mochta's.
