Joe’s Biography
Joe developed in the Athlone Town's youths team and earned a place in Mike Kerley's first team squad at the start of the 2011 season.
He made his league debut for Athlone on 19 March 2011 in a 1-1 away draw with Salthill Devon and made 35 league appearances in his two years at the club, scoring once in a 1-0 win over Mervue United in March 2012. In February 2013 Joe signed for Mervue United and made his debut for them in an EA Cup win over Cockhill Celtic on 1 March 2013.
