Pat’s Biography

Pat, known on Shannonside as ‘Superman’, started his career with local Limerick side Fairview Rangers before signing for St Patrick’s Athletic in 2000. Pat didn’t make the first team at Richmond Park and returned to Limerick in September 2001. Pat was at Limerick City for three seasons, winning the League Cup with the club in 2002, beating Derry City on penalties in the final after the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

In March 2004 Pat signed for Alan Reynolds at Waterford United and spent two seasons with the club before returning to Limerick in January 2006. Pat captained Limerick from his return in 2006 and his performances were rewarded by being named in the First Division Team of the Year for the 2010 season. In 2011 Pat made 26 league appearances and scored 4 goals and in 2012 he was captain of Pat Scully's First Division title winning side.

Pat made just 2 league appearances when Limerick returned to the Premier Division in 2013 on a season that was spoiled by persistent injury. He retired from league football at the end of 2013.
