Old Trafford
Built in 1909, Old Trafford has been the home of Manchester United since 1910. In 1941 the ground was hit by a bomb dropped by the Luftwaffe in World War II and was closed until 1949, during which period Manchester United shared Maine Road, the home of city rivals Manchester City.
