League Report: Wexford 0 - 0 Bray Wanderers

Bray Wanderers claimed a valuable point in their quest to secure a playoff berth on Tuesday night with a scoreless draw away to Wexford.
The Seagulls are now points ahead of sixth-placed Finn Harps and are ahead of fifth-placed Athlone Town on goal difference.
Bray are now fourth in the table.
Wexford, however, were unable to maintain their seven-game long winning streak in all competitions but remain in a healthy position in their own quest to secure a top-five finish.
They are third on 47 points and four points clear of Finn Harps.
“It’s a good point if we can back it up on Friday against Kerry,” Bray first-team coach Paul Heffernan said when speaking to his club’s media team.
“It was a tough game and Wexford are obviously in good form with seven wins in a row. They are a hard team to play against with their style of play but I thought the lads did really well and on another night I think we could have taken three points.”
Bray can take another step towards sealing a playoff on Friday when they host strugglers Kerry at the Carlisle Grounds.
“We‘re back at home and we want to win all of our home games,” Heffernan added.
“We have five games left in the league and we want to win as many as possible. Home games will be key.
“It is Kerry at home on Friday and the important thing now is to get the lads rested and recovered to face Kerry in three days time.”
