FINN HARPS
Play-off contenders Finn Harps face basement side Longford Town as they bid to keep their slim hopes of a top-five finish alive on Friday night (kick-off is at 7.45pm).
The Co Donegal side looked all but out of the play-off picture a fortnight ago.
But two wins on the spin over Cobh Ramblers and Athlone Town both away from home have reinvigorated their hopes.
And striker Success Edogun knows the importance of Harps staying the course as they trail fifth-placed Bray Wanderers by just four points.
“We’re playing catchup at the minute, so to do that you can’t panic,” Edogun told Donegal Live.
“We just have to take it one game at a time and try and maximise our points in the last six games and see where that takes us.”
LONGFORD TOWN
Basement side Longford will be confident that they can claim another scalp when they visit Ballybofey on Friday evening.
Wayne Groves’ Red and Black recorded a shock 1-0 victory over Bray Wanderers last weekend with Danny Norris netting a second half winner.
It was only their fourth win of the season as they languish at the foot of the table.
But they are now only two points behind ninth-placed Kerry.
And they will also be boosted with the return of Dean O’Shea and Bastien Hery from suspension this weekend.
Referee: Oliver Moran.
