COBH RAMBLERS
Residing in seventh ahead of this one, Cobh come into this clash seeking to find some consistency after drawing three of their last five league games.
Stalemates with Treaty United, Wexford and Longford Town preceded a slender home win over Kerry before most recently, they fell to defeat at Bray Wanderers.
David Bosnjak netted successively against the Limerick and Crossabeg outfits, extending his goals tally to five for the season.
That included a strike in the reverse game here, when Matthew McKevitt was also on target.
His scoring exploits in wins over Kerry and UCD to within six points of fifth-placed Bray and the final playoff place. To keep the pace, a third win of this season over fellow playoff chasers, Harps, is imperative.
FINN HARPS
Similarly to their hosts tonight, Finn Harps arrive at St Colman’s Park in somewhat jumpy form of their own.
Defeating lowly Longford Town came before dramatic draws with UCD and Athlone Town, sandwiched by a loss in Kerry and home victory over Wexford.
Buoyed by healthier bench options in recent weeks, manager, Darren Murphy has made only incremental refinements to his starting eleven, a reliable core of which continues to pick up points at a steady rate.
A first goal against Cobh this campaign would be welcome as the visitors seek a better outcome than their last long trek; the defeat to Kerry at Mounthawk Park a fortnight ago.
Referee: Mark Moynihan.
Prediction: Cobh Ramblers 1-1 Finn Harps.
