Derry City closed the gap on league leaders Shamrock Rovers to five points with a 3-0 win over Drogheda United on Sunday evening.
A first-half goal from former Arsenal youth Jordan McEneff set the Candystripes on their way to a routine win over Kevin Doherty’s men.
But they had to wait until the latter end of the second half to come out on top with goals in the 85th and 88th minute from Jamie McGonigle and Michael Duffy.
