KERRY
Seeking their first win as a senior club, Kerry welcome Galway United to Mounthawk Park on Friday night (kick-off is at 7.45pm).
The Kingdom fell to a heavy 9-1 defeat to Galway United in their last outing against John Caulfield’s side.
But since then they have rallied and impressed with narrow defeats against Longford Town and Waterford.
They also claimed a point at home to Finn Harps since that capitulation at Eamonn Deacy Park.
"Galway will be coming down here full of intent to stay top of the league and keep their 100% record going,” Dennehy told the Kerryman this week.
“We know how difficult it’s going to be.
“But in terms of the learnings from my side, obviously going away to Waterford I had a lot different approach to what I did going away to Galway.”
GALWAY UNITED
In-form Galway United will be looking to maintain their remarkable winning start to the season when they take on Kerry on Friday evening.
The Tribesmen have won all nine of their league games so far this season and sit 10 points clear of closest challengers Waterford.
And just last week they recorded a stunning 6-0 victory at home to Bray Wanderers.
Killian Brouder, Vincent Borden (x2), Mikie Rowe, David Hurley and Ibrahim Keita all netted for Galway in their big win.
And following their most recent win against Kerry earlier this season, Galway will be red-hot favourites to romp home to another success.
But striker Borden told the extratime.com podcast this week: “We got a good result against them at home last time.
“But every game is a new game and it will be a battle. We won 6-0 against Bray but it could be a different story against Kerry.
“It’s just about getting over the line at the end of the 90 minutes.”
