FINN HARPS
Finn Harps welcome Cobh Ramblers to Finn Park on Friday night as they eye their first home win of the season (kick-off is at 8pm).
Harps won their last league game against Longford Town thanks to a Ryan Rainey penalty at Bishopsgate.
And that win was their first of the season as they stumbled out of the blocks following their relegation at the end of 2022.
But they will take encouragement from their recent upturn in results and performances under new boss Dave Rogers.
Harps have yet to issue team news for the game at time of publication.
COBH RAMBLERS
Cobh Ramblers slipped to their first defeat of the season last time out against Galway United and will be looking for a response away to Finn Harps this week.
Galway United’s winning streak continued with a 2-0 win away to Cobh Ramblers at St Colman’s Park.
Vincent Borden and Ryan Manning both netted for the Tribesmen as they moved on to 15 points – five clear of Cobh.
But the Rams hit back on Monday night with a Munster Senior Cup win against Treaty United at Jackman Park.
Former Galway United star Colin Kelly opened the scoring for Tommy Barrett’s side in the 4th minute.
However, Ramblers levelled matters minutes later through Conor Drinan in the 10th minute – and then took the lead just before the interval via Jake Hegarty.
Liam Kervick then scored in the 56th minute to make it 3-1 but Treaty scored a late consolation late on when Darren Nwankwo scored.
Referee: Alan Patchell.
